Not a fabulous day!
Today has not been a great day. My food choices have not been too good. I haven’t eaten horribly fattening foods or anything like that. I have just eaten too much:( Breakfast I didn’t really do bad. Lunch was where I messed up so if I do really good at dinner and get in my exercise then the day will be saved.
I wanted to go to a convention near my home today. It is called the smart living expo. It supposedly has health screenings, many informational booths, and professional chefs to teach you to make healthy foods. I had planned to go with a friend and I cannot get a hold of her. My hubby had to go help his dad with a project so I have both of my kids. I don’t really know how much I would learn at the expo with my 4 year old and my 16 month old tagging along. Oh well!
My weight loss slow down has got me bummed too. I was losing steadily for so long and now I just keep gaining and losing the same pound over and over. One day I weigh 184 the next day 183 and so on. It has been like this all week. I have to work my way through this plateau. I know I can do it. I just have to NOT get discouraged and keep going:)

Girl you will get thru it. I NO YOU CAN AND WILL DO IT. Yeah its kinda hard to go to events with small kids. Oh well there will be another time. I no the feeling about this weight loss. I think I have stayed the same for the last 2 weeks and I hate it but I will continue to stick with the plan. Have a great day my buddy and enjoy your day. Huggs Ms Babe

Having kiddos always makes this a little bit more of a struggle. Its so much easier just to eat whatever they are having. Dont beat yourself up about it. Just try again, like you said, at dinner. And hey tomorrow is a new day.
I think the best thing you can do is not weigh yourself daily. I know especially for women, our water weight fluctuates from day to day so that could very well be that 1 lb you keep seeing going up & down. Pick a day to weigh yourself in the morning before you eat breakfast. Then weigh yourself on that same day once a week. It helped tremendously. You can do it!
You can do this! Plateaus are normal and you can get through it. Maybe try a different type of exercise. Make your body wonder what is going on. Good luck!
I agree you need to change up the routine. You’ll get past this and well on your way again!
Make sure you weigh in at the same time every day! And early morning readings are best (for me!)You may want to consider a scale that measure in .2 of a lb so you can see results daily..,.I had to do that to keep me happy! Lol….I ate a bunch today too, but its not how much you eat, it is WHAT you eat! Tomorrow fill up on your veggies they will take you further and some lean protein…You can do it, don’t give up…..Angie

That’s right…keep one foot infront of the other and keep moving, that’s the best way to kick a plateau in the butt!
Bad days…heck, bad weeks are a part of the struggle….stay strong and keep fighting.
Most of the stuff you would have learned
At the expo that you can’t find right there on the internet…
Best of luck!!!

Hey girl, I know it’s been a few days since you had this downer but I just wanted to give you some encouragement. You can have a few days of eating just a little to much. I’m sure it’s hard with two kids…I’ve seen many friends with kids to know that it’s not easy but I know you can do great. My one suggestion would be is not to weigh yourself every day…weigh yourself only once a week at most if not just every other week. Due to things that occur or don’t occur on a daily basis your weight normally just stays the same…also if you look at the scale every day and see that you gained a lb back…if you’re anything like me…you just start stressing out and then tend to eat a little bit more here or don’t make time to exercise there. Just keep your head up girl! You can do it!
I hope you have made it through your slump. You can do this. Just keep movin’ on. Take one day at a time. If you mess up try not to get too down. You will get there 1 pound at a time!

Keep your chin up. You’ll get through it and we’re all here to support you. Kathy
