Everyone have a happy new year!

I hope that everyone has a fabulous new year and stays strong through the holidays!  Don’t give up if you put on a little weight over the holiday just move forward.  I have always had the problem that if I mess up at one meal, I blow the whole day. If I mess up one day, I blow the whole week.  I am done with that mentality.  Everyone will occasionally mess up but if you accept it and move on with your healthy ways, it doesn’t have to equal a gain.  You can work a little harder at the gym the next day.  I hope that I made sense. 

I also wanted to write down my goals for 2008!

1.  I want to drink more water - at least 8 glasses a day.

2.  I want to do at least 30 min. of cardio 7 days a week

3.  I want to learn to cook healthy meals for me as well as my family

4.  I want to strength train at least 3 days a week.

5.  I want to become a runner.  I can barely jog 1.5 miles now and I want to be able to do 5 miles but 12/31/08.

I will probably think of more or adjust my list but I wanted to get started!

    Makes sense to me…. too bad we too easily forget. Nice job on the goals for 08. Writing things down is a great way to stay focused on them. Keep up the good work.

    I think you can accomplish anything you set your mind to do! Saty on top of it and keep moving forward like you said!

    You are barve to set such high goals for yourself, but hey you know you can achieve them! I will be watching as you make the goals a reality!
